This is a Tony Robbin’s quote - but how true! The meaning is that the primary obstacle is the belief that problems are a sign that something is wrong. Tony argues that problems are not exceptions but rather essential fuel for personal growth, as they call us to a higher level of problem-solving and self-mastery. Bring on the problems! :) 👏💪🏻

Even 10min is better than nothing. Just move - with intention, every day.

Keep moving. Muscle contraction, no matter how small, is all beneficial. Build your overall health by continuing to move. Walking is a great way to get started! Move, move, move!

30 days of yoga complete!
I completed 30days of yoga to see if it changed how my body felt. I’ve always loved yoga but my practice has been very irregular. Nagging general muscular tightness was my main push.
How do I feel post 30days? Simply, excellent.
The “tightness” I was feeling was in lots of muscle groups - abs, legs, glutes, shoulders, back. I can definitely say that the tightness has eased significantly and I notice that my hamstrings are markedly less tight. I’m feeling more flexible and mobile than I have in years.
I intend to continue this flexi progression journey wholeheartedly.
I was seriously surprised how some of my sessions were so strength focused. Some DOMs in my abs and back muscles but I loved this! Holding some of these poses requires great engagement of multiple muscle groups. Everything slow and controlled. The balance moves and poses I’ve loved most!
Mindfulness: This is where I struggled most. I tried to be mindful during my practices, put all of my “to do lists” out of my mind and focus on breath. But I had a lot of interruptions. This would be where a yoga studio would definitely help. In days without interruptions, I still found it hard to stop my mind from wandering. I need and want to practice this more and I hope I can find time to keep practicing this over the next few years.
Now, whilst I haven’t done a session for two days, this will definitely be something that I work into my regular health and fitness routine - even if it’s mostly trying to master the balance poses and stretching. And I’m confident I will persist with the mindfulness too. The knowledge that overall my body feels much more free and balanced will be what keeps taking me back to the yoga mat!
Thanks for following. Namaste 🙏

Challenging myself with 30days of yoga. I like to change up my routine a little bit now and then to make sure I’m training my mind and body in different ways.
I’ve always loved yoga but have only really practiced irregularly. I’ve often wanted to commit more time to yoga as I definitely feel good in various ways after a session. I’ve also been feeling a bit tight and sore recently due to some tougher training and thought this may be a nice thing to do for a change. Hoping the kids join me for parts of the ride too.
I’ll be choosing various yoga sessions to challenge myself (balance, flexibility and strength, along with the usual mindfulness etc). And I’ll share my thoughts and feelings throughout this 30 day journey via my stories for anyone who wants to follow. Namaste 🙏 😊

Hello new friends. If it doesn’t challenge you, it won’t change you.

A super quick healthy dinner from my friend .pink.prep.queen (mine looking quite as photogenic 😂). Home from kids activities at 540pm and dinner was cooked and eaten by 640pm! Safe to say all 4 of the kiddos loved this too! X

Are your goals for the holiday season realistic? The holiday season is full of fun times with family and friends - and it is ok to enjoy yourself. Carefully consider how your goals should look for this period. And be kind to yourself. My advice - don’t beat yourself up if you do over indulge once or twice, but try to stay “on track” as much as you can and celebrate the small wins. Have fun and keep moving that body!
