Donβt just rely on weigh ins..
Measurements and photos are great indicators as well!!
π§‘ Did you know that weigh ins can be unreliable. Your body-weight can fluctuate daily since itβs influenced by your stomach/bowel/bladder content, water loss/retention, muscle loss/gain, fat loss/gain, β¦
Daily weigh ins though are NOT the whole picture of what is going on. Your mentor will be watching your weekly trend in weight loss while you might be focussed on the 100gms you lost or the 400gms you gained and judging it as not good enough.
π§‘ If you don't understand this then the weight scale can become your worst enemy by misleading you and killing your motivation.
π§‘ On the other hand measuring tapes, clothes, mirrors, pictures and your friends compliments donβt lie.

Snack time:
If you are thinking to reach to your pantry for a packet of chips or Tim Tam, then think again. How about some healthy natural options?
Healthy snacks are available naturally and we donβt need commercially made snacks.
I usually go for green apple, celery sticks, cucumber or oranges packed with various nutrients and vitamins.
Today, itβs Orange for me.

π₯ the average Australian actually consumes 20 teaspoons of sugar per day!!
π₯ there are so many hidden sugars in a lot of the processed foods we eat eg 10 teaspoons in a can of soda!!π³
Some doctors believe that sugar is the most toxic food you can eat and is even more dangerous to your body and your waistline than carbohydrates or fats. In addition, a lot of store bought foods touted as βlow fatβ add extra sugar to make up for lost flavour.

Life is busy....
Staying hydrated is vital.
More often than not people dismiss common signs of dehydration. Do you have any of the below symptoms?
π§Dry Skin
π§Low energy levels
π§Headaches

π§Difficulty concentrating
π§Dry Lips
These can all be warning signs that you are in fact dehydrated. Whilst doing on the program we are required to drink 3L per day.
