We suggest our weight loss coaching clients write a vision statement on page 9 of the Daily Food Planner we give them. They often skip this step thinking it's too woo woo. But we learnt it from performance sports psychologists, and it makes a difference in sustainable health behaviour change.

If they have a proven dietary plan, and the accountability from a coach, then getting their mind to believe it is a secret ingredient.

Here's what one of our newest gold medalist Saya Sakakibara said.
"I envisaged this moment. I visualised being on top of the podium, hearing the national anthem, and then having the gold medal around my neck. I envisioned that and every set back from those moments I said I’d give this another crack. I just had that in mind. I wanted it. I wanted it. I knew it comes down to just a split second and all I had to do is go. I didn’t want to leave here with giving it, (tears) making myself proud. Make these setbacks worthwhile."
