People always assume my favourite work is the big bold colour, and don't get me wrong, I love it. But there's something about a beautifully cut bob with natural shine that I'll never get tired of. No extravagant colour on this one, just a sharp shape, a soft wave through the ends, and the kind of gloss that only comes from healthy hair looked after properly. It looks effortless, which is the whole trick, because effortless hair is usually the most considered of the lot. She looked stunning walking out, and this photo doesn't even do it justice.

I'll let you in on a secret. Half the magic isn't what I do in the chair, it's what you do with your hair for the weeks after you leave. I can give you the cut and the colour, but the day-to-day upkeep is on you, and the right products make all the difference between hair that still looks fresh at week six and hair that's given up by week two. That's why I keep a proper range on the shelf, all of it chosen by me, none of it there to just fill space. So next time you're in, have a chat with me about what your hair actually needs. Dry, damaged, colour that's fading too fast, whatever it is, there's something here that'll help, and I'd rather set you up properly than watch good hair go to waste.

Job description: supervise all appointments, taste-test every snack that enters the building, and collect pats from anyone within reach. Reggie takes all three duties very seriously and has never once called in sick. Employee of the month, every month.

Not every day in the chair is soft caramel and creamy blonde, and thank goodness for that. Sam walked in, told me to do something bold, and actually meant it, which is the green light I live for. So we went electric blue melting down into acid green, finished with a sharp little crop that gives the whole thing attitude. It takes a certain kind of person to wear colour like this and wear it well, and she absolutely does. I love my balayage clients dearly, but the bold ones let me properly play, and that's where the fun lives. Show me the boldest hair you've ever had in the comments, I want to see it.

Everyone wants the colour, nobody wants to live in my chair to maintain it, and balayage is my answer to both. This one's a soft melt from a deeper root down into warm caramel ends, hand-painted so there's no harsh regrowth line waiting to ambush her in two months. It grows out gracefully, looks like she spent a fortune, and lets her stretch the time between visits, which is exactly what a busy person wants from their hair. Low effort, high payoff, the dream combination.

People bring me photos of blondes like this and ask if it's achievable, and the funny part is half the time the photo is my own work staring back at me. This one's no exception. She gave me the dream brief, which is to say she gave me nothing and full permission, and I ran with it. Came out soft, creamy, none of that brassy nonsense, with a little bend through the bob so it actually behaves itself in the morning. I'm a bit obsessed and I don't care who knows.

There's a strict approval process at Globe and it has nothing to do with me. Reggie supervises every appointment from the good leather chair, paws up, eyes locked on the work, and no client leaves until he's satisfied the fringe is sitting exactly where it should. He doesn't take bribes, though he has been known to lower his standards for a belly rub. Today's client passed inspection with flying colours. Reggie says well done. I say book in and come meet the real boss.

Fringe is back. And no, not the one you regret-cut in your bathroom at 2am.

Soft curtain fringe, dimensional blonde, waves that actually move. This is what happens when your haircut has a plan instead of just vibes.

People love the idea of a fringe until they remember the maintenance. The styling, the awkward grow-out phase, the "why did I do this" spiral three weeks in.

Here's the thing: a good fringe doesn't fight you. It's cut to work with your hair texture, not against it. It grows out gracefully. It doesn't need an hour of your morning.

Curtain fringe especially, it's the low-drama option. Frames your face, adds movement, and when it grows? It just blends back in.

Volume without the drama... that's the goal.

Big, bouncy waves, dimensional colour, glossy finish. This cut's designed to give you body and movement without spending hours on it.

People think volume = high maintenance. Curling wands every morning, product overload, the whole routine.

But honestly, the right cut does the heavy lifting.

Layers placed right, colour that adds depth, a shape that works with your hair instead of against it. Style it once, and it holds. Air dry or quick blow-dry, either way, you're sorted.

Low effort. High impact.
