CALF FOAM ROLLING 🛼
I see a lot of people try calf rolling and they either get too fatigued through their arms or it’s just so painful they can only do it for a few seconds 🤦♀️
When we are trying to roll fascia it’s so important we’re not putting so much pressure on that we end up squirming or tensing. Fascia won’t respond well to that!!

This study by Lu et al looks at the musculoskeletal pain experienced by women in perimenopause. I could think of patients while I was reading it who would say to me “LITERALLY NOTHING IM DOING HAS CHANGED BUT I’VE ALL OF A SUDDEN GO PAIN”

🩰Going en pointe is exciting! But it’s also a big step for growing bodies.
A pre-pointe assessment isn’t about passing or failing. It’s about making sure a dancer is safe and confident to transition to pointe.
Dancers walk away with so much more knowledge and understanding about their own bodies. I wish I got to do one when I was going en pointe!

👀THIS IS WHAT ACL TESTING ACTUALLY FEELS LIKE…
For a lot of people, the first testing session comes with nerves, doubt anda whole lot of “What if I can’t?”
And that’s completely normal
Early in rehab, it’s not about being perfect - it’s about getting a clear starting point and building confidence step by step. Testing isn’t there to judge you. It’s there to guide the plan, track progress and prove to you what your body can do.
