We've all heard the term "Work smarter not harder," but do we actually apply it?

There are a lot of determined and successful people out there. And often people question how they do it. So let me tell you their secrets.

It took self-discipline. It's the small consistent steps every day that count. Stay consistent, and show up for yourself.

Strong mind = Strong body

Dont smash yourself every day. Set small, consistent, smart goals thay will help you achieve your big goal. Include self care, sleep, meals, water. Your body and mind deserve to be looked after. Training doesn't only happen in the gym, but at home too. 🩷

Why kettlebells are essential.

Kbs are much more forgiving on joints because the shape of the bell allows the body to move fluidly helping to better grip strength, mobility, strengthen movement and target weak points in the body that long term can enhance form for heavy lifts and everyday functionality.

They are a great example of how to strengthen mind and muscle connection.

For example a swing; there is alot to engage when we are performing a swing in order for it to be effective. In a swing movement we are switching on the lats when we pick up the bell, driving the hips to help force momentum, engaging the glutes to protect the spine, gripping our toes and activating our core to stabilise our body so that when we perform the movement we are not thrown of balance.

When training kettlebells it is important to implement the use of your breath. The timing of
the breath is strict and is essential to help the body hold tension through a movement.

Although it may sound technical, it is definitely something to practice as it will translate well in all aspects of your training.

If your hypermobile, kettlebells would be a great tool for you to learn to hold tension throughout your body and can minimise the risk of injury.

And if your hypomobile kettlebells can be used to better your mobility and joint stability.

They are one of the oldest tools used and still to this day one of the best ever designed for training.

Who knew that one tool could benefit so many things!

Carrying, pushing, lifting, pulling, walking, and running all require strength and endurance.
