GHM Beauty | H**P SOAP

To create our soap we use the traditional lye method (Pot ash/Potassium Hydroxide), in which natural lye is combined with h**p, olive and coconut oils, along with shea butter, catalysing a chemical process called saponification. The result of this process is a rich and moisturising soap, with no added detergents and no traces of lye, perfect for cleansing sensitive skin.

Olive oil is packed with antioxidants which, when applied to the skin, can help combat sun damage and signs of ageing. Olive oil is also rich in fat-soluble vitamins. H**p, olive and coconut oils all have been shown to have antibacterial properties, with h**p oil also having excellent anti-inflammatory properties, which can soothe the skin.

Both shea butter and h**p oil have very high fatty acid contents, making them excellent emollients which help keep skin plump and smooth.

H**p oil and olive oil are both excellent sources of vitamin E which has long been considered a holy grail in skincare, both in diminishing wrinkles and combating troublesome skin conditions, such as psoriasis and eczema.
