Hi, I’m Olivia, and I have endometriosis. 💛

Endometriosis is something that affects 1 in 9 people assigned female at birth, yet it is still widely misunderstood and often dismissed. I was one of the lucky ones—my diagnosis and treatment process happened relatively quickly compared to many others, but the journey was anything but easy.

I will never forget the excruciating pain that felt impossible to explain, the countless moments of frustration and hopelessness, and the overwhelming uncertainty of not knowing what was happening to my own body.

For so long, I questioned whether my pain was "normal" or if I was simply overreacting. I convinced myself to push through, dismissing what I was feeling, all while struggling to be heard. It wasn’t until I finally received a diagnosis that I felt validated—but even then, the challenges didn’t end.

Endometriosis is unpredictable, debilitating, and often dismissed. No one should have to feel lost in their own body, desperately searching for answers that seem just out of reach. That’s why raising awareness, supporting research, and advocating for better treatment is so important to me.
