Size 14–16? Stop your wide leg pants from making your legs look short.

The trick: skip the round toe shoe. Kitten heel or boot, just make sure it’s got a point. It instantly makes the whole leg line longer 👌

Today’s outfit started with this stunning burgundy polka dot skirt — that colour pulled me in immediately, even with the boys letting us down in Origin last night 🙈🫠 Brave choice wearing maroon today, but here we are 🤣

Paired it with a maroon top for a tonal moment, then layered a pink blazer over the top (also Depop, size 16, unreal quality for what I paid).

Notice the lapel sits lower than yesterday’s — closer to that sweet spot between under-bust and belly button (check out yesterday’s reel for my blazer cheat code!! linked for you 😘)

Went black with the belt and kitten heels today purely because the heels were black. But here’s the thing — midsize girls don’t have to default to black. I was in full colour and felt genuinely fabulous 💖

Little detail: the knotted necklace has tiny pearly beads, a small nod to the polka dots on the skirt. Sportsgirl earrings, $5.95 on sale, love a win.

My cheat code on how to pick a blazer that doesn’t make you look bulkier 🤎

The lapel test: it shouldn’t end at the center of your bust or any higher — that’s what makes you look wider and bulkier instead of longer. The sweet spot is somewhere between just under your bust and your belly button.

That’s what elongates your line instead of cutting you off right where you’ve already got the most volume 🙈

I use this same trick whether I’m trying something on in store or scrolling Depop.

Full transparency — this Valleygirl blazer sits a little higher than my usual sweet spot, and I almost passed on it because of that. But it was the brown I’d been on the hunt for, and only $25, so I made the call 🤎

Also had to show off this belt because I have been searching for a cure skinny brown belt for WEEKS. Found it in store at Sportsgirl yesterday for $19.95 and I was stoked — anyone else struggle to find good belts in our size range?

Told you I’d show up glam today and then… didn’t 🙈🤣🙃

Two lazy days in a row now, but I still threw on my FASHION, FUN + GOOD VIBES top and Seed Heritage slacks, so we’ll call it lazy-cute. Day 11/31 outfits, coffee with a friend, zero face on.

I listened to a podcast recently that said you dress in the morning for the mood or attitude you want to have that day. I genuinely love that mindset. But after a few hectic months, I think my body’s just asking me to slow down for a bit. So today I’m honoring that instead 💖

Casual day = no hair, no makeup, just a hoodie and my favourite tights 🙌

These tights don’t roll down. Period. Like ever. I have about 6 pairs and every single one holds up — did a completely unscripted squat on camera just now to prove it 😂🙈

Quiet one today — chores, cats, and comfy clothes. Sometimes that’s just what you need on a Sunday.
