After 15+ years in the skin industry, I’ve learned that small adjustments in your routine can make a big difference. One trick I always recommend: adding a facial spritz or hydrating mist.

💧 Why it works Spritzing your skin before applying serums or moisturisers helps your products pe*****te more effectively. It hydrates the top layer of skin, softening it so actives can absorb better.

🧱 Barrier support A hydrating mist can also reinforce your skin barrier by adding water that helps lock in moisture when followed by a moisturiser.

After 15+ years in the skin industry, this is one of the biggest reasons I see clients not getting results—there’s a real skin science reason behind it.

We get it… skincare is exciting. But constantly changing products can actually disrupt how your skin functions 👇

💭 Your skin needs consistency
Your skin follows a natural renewal cycle of around 4–6 weeks. Active ingredients (like vitamin A, AHAs, BHAs) need this time to stimulate cell turnover and show results. Switching too soon interrupts this process.

⚖️ You can’t track what’s working
Skin reactions can take days to weeks to appear. If you’re constantly changing products, there’s no way to identify what’s improving your skin—or triggering breakouts or irritation.
