We're cleaning out a storm water drain here — and the camera found something interesting. 🌳
Most of the line was already clear. But there was one section where the pipe transitioned back to PVC, and that joint hadn't been put together properly.
That gap? That's exactly what was letting tree roots go in from the side.

We run a 9-cable snake on jobs like this — more strands means more flex and a lot less chance of it kinking or snapping halfway through a run compared to the cheaper single-core gear.
Fed it through, found the blockage, cleared it properly. Drain running free again.
Small detail, but it's the difference between a clean job and getting stuck halfway through with a stuck cable.

Bare wall frame to finished bathroom — this is the full process. 🛠️
This one started with a new branch line cut into the external wall for the toilet, then every water line measured and run through the frame for the shower, vanity, and toilet.
Opened a new toilet branch line
Ran PEX water lines through the frame for shower, vanity, and toilet
Drilled and positioned the vanity pipework
Fitted off the shower, toilet, and vanity once tiling was done
End result — clean white marble-look tiles, freestanding shower, and a fully finished bathroom.
