Handcrafted small-batch soaps, bath & body products to help you surrender, breathe, and simply be

31/12/2025

As we head into a new year, it feels right to pause and reflect on Wren & Wildbloom, a brand that grew slowly, intentionally, and with a lot of behind-the-scenes trial, error, and late-night note-taking.

This year was full of learning. Tweaking recipes (again), refining scents, simplifying ingredients, and reminding myself that good things don’t need to be loud to be powerful. There were quiet wins, small milestones, and a few “why isn’t this behaving?” moments along the way, all part of the process.

Wren & Wildbloom has always been about creating gentle, sensory-conscious essentials that feel grounding, not overwhelming. Less fuss, more intention. Less noise, more nature.

Thank you to everyone who supported, shared kind words, tested products, and believed in something a little slower and more thoughtful. You’re the reason this little brand keeps growing roots.

Stepping into the new year with fresh ideas, steady hands, and a continued commitment to keeping things simple, honest, and made with care, and probably a few more batches being re-made just to get them just right.

Here’s to another year of growth, learning, and beautifully imperfect progress.

Why We Use Essential Oils (and Why We Use Them Carefully) 05/11/2025

✨ New on the Wildbloom Journal ✨

Hey Wren & Wildbloom friends, I’ve just shared a little behind-the-scenes story about how I choose and use essential oils with intention: Why we use them, how we respect them, and how they’re chosen with you in mind. 🌿 Read it here 👉 https://www.wrenandwildbloom.com.au/blogs/the-wildbloom-journal/why-we-use-essential-oils-and-why-we-use-them-carefully

Here’s a peek at what you’ll find:

What essential oils really are: the plant magic distilled into tiny drops of scent + support.

Why I include them (and why sometimes I don’t): skin soothers, mood uplifters, and thoughtful fragrance.

Our safety-first approach: low dilution, no known sensitisers, and always an unscented option for when your nervous system needs some quiet.

Sustainability matters: how we source ethically, use only what’s necessary, and treat essential oils as the precious gifts they are.

A gentle reminder for sensitive skin & nervous systems: patch test, less is more, and if “unscented” feels better, it’s absolutely okay.

And finally: scent isn’t the point. Ritual and return-to-self are. Because you deserve to pause, breathe, and be.

If you’ve ever wondered why your soap smells so good, or how I keep it gentle for you and your world, this one’s for you. And if you find yourself saying, “I’m glad they did the thinking for me”, then we’re in the right place.

Would love to hear your thoughts, drop a comment, send a DM, or just breathe it in with your next wash.

With wildness and warmth,

Why We Use Essential Oils (and Why We Use Them Carefully) Essential oils are one of those things that can feel both magical and mysterious. A single drop can fill a room with scent, shift your mood, or even soothe irritated skin but only if it’s used with intention. At Wren & Wildbloom, we do use essential oils in some of our formulations. But we don...

Meet Lavender Lull, a bedtime ritual in bar form.

Creamy goat’s milk with pure lavender essential oil to bring a gentle calm to both skin and spirit. The lather is soft, soothing, and nourishing, like a quiet exhale at the end of a long day.

This bar was made for slow evenings, warm baths, and tender moments before sleep. A little ritual of rest, tucked into your palm.

Lavender Lull is now available, hand-poured in small batches, ready to bring calm to your nightly rhythm.

Tell me, what’s your favourite way to wind down at night, tea, reading, or a warm bath?

05/09/2025

I’ve been under the weather this week, and it’s been a reminder that sometimes the most important work is simply to rest. Healing asks us to slow down, soften, and let things wait.

If you’re in that space too, here’s your permission slip: curl up, sip something warm, and let the world spin without you for a while.

Surrender. Breathe. Be.

No white lab coats, no perfect cuts, just me, an emulsionblender, and a bowl of melted oils.
It might not look polished, but it feels good to make something real with my own hands.
