Watch til the end to see the results. 👀

What looked like male pattern balding was actually diffuse hair loss caused by telogen effluvium. Once the real cause was identified, the hair was finally able to recover with the right support and treatment.

Hair loss in men is not always genetic. Stress, illness, low iron, poor sleep, medication and nutritional deficiencies can all disrupt the hair cycle and trigger excessive shedding.

If your hair feels thinner, weaker, or you are noticing more hair fall than usual, it may be time to look deeper into the cause.

Book your free phone consult with our trichologist and take the first step toward understanding what is really happening with your hair.

10 months of progress.

After years of putting everyone else first, this client finally took the time to focus on herself and her hair health and the transformation speaks for itself.

This journey started in January 2025 and today we are seeing healthier regrowth, fuller density and new hairs finally growing the way they are supposed to, with even more improvement to come.

If your hair has been feeling thinner, weaker or not like itself lately, please know you are not alone and with the right support, your hair can recover too 🤍

Microneedling has become one of the most talked about tools for hair loss and thinning, and for good reason. When used correctly, it can safely support scalp health by creating tiny channels in the skin that help stimulate the scalp and improve the absorption of natural topical treatments. Think of it as helping your scalp become more receptive to the support it needs, rather than being a quick fix on its own.

The part many people do not realise is that not all microneedling is created equal. The needle depth matters, and using the wrong size can do more harm than good. Too shallow and you may not get the benefits. Too deep and you risk irritating or damaging an already vulnerable scalp.

This is why professional guidance matters. Just because a device is easy to buy online does not mean it is right for your hair loss journey. The correct needle size should always be advised by a trichologist based on your scalp condition, level of thinning, and treatment goals.

Your scalp deserves more than guesswork. If you’re not sure if your microneedle is correct for you, visit us in clinic and we can advise you on what you need for your current hair goals.

There are a few things trichologist see on repeat and sometimes they scare us 😱 Not because they’re rare but because they’re avoidable.

1. Hair growth shampoos -
They don’t pe*****te deep enough into the to follicle. At best, they support the scalp. At worst, they give false hope when the real issue progresses.

2. Hair loss medications without a diagnosis -
Medications have a place. But without understanding the *why* behind your hair loss, you’re guessing. And guessing may cost you time, your health, and long-term results.

3. “My doctor said my levels are fine” -
This is fine for general health, however not optimal for hair loss and hair regrowth. hair is a non-essential tissue. It is the first to miss out when your body is running low.

4. High-dose biotin -
More is not better. Excess Bioton can interfere with blood test results, imbalance levels, interact with certain medications and cause other issues.

5. Nutrient robbers -
This is a common one many people miss. Certain foods or even combinations of foods we love to eat can cause havoc. Resulting in blocked absorption or depletion of specific nutrients we require for hair growth.

If you’re doing all the “right things”, but your hair still isn’t responding, this is where we look 👆 Our Food for Ferritin guide breaks down exactly how to support iron levels through food, and what might be getting in the way because hair growth starts long before the scalp.

This client didn’t think anything was wrong, in fact it was her hairdresser who noticed it first.

During consultation we uncovered years of starting and stopping birth control, two pregnancies close together, nutritional gaps that quietly build up over time. Her hair cycle has been pushed out of rhythm, stuck between growing, resting, and shedding. What looked like breakage was actually hair that never had the chance to properly.

The good news is with the right support, the right routine, and plan tailored to her, her hair started to come back together. Thicker, stronger, growing the way it should.

Ten months on, the change speaks for itself and there’s still more to come.

If this sounds like your story, it might be time to check in with your hair and start your journey back to healthy hair growth.

Our favourite part? It’s not going to compromise your hair or your health with safe ingredients, just smoother, healthier hair without spending all day in salon.

Winter skin doesn’t stop at your face your scalp feels it too.

Colder weather, dry air, and hot showers can strip away natural oils, leaving your scalp tight, flaky, itchy, or irritated. What most people think is “just dandruff” is often something more and guessing the wrong treatment can keep you stuck in the cycle.

That’s where we do things differently. We don’t assume. We assess.

Using detailed scalp analysis, we look beneath the surface to understand exactly what’s going on oil levels, buildup, sensitivity, and follicle health. From there, we prescribe a tailored plan that actually treats the cause, on top of relieving the symptoms.

And when your scalp needs extra support, our in house treatments are designed to deeply cleanse, rebalance, and restore giving your scalp the reset it’s been asking for.

If your scalp has been dry, flaky, or irritated for more than 3 months, it’s time to stop guessing.

Dandruff doesn’t necessarily mean you have a dry scalp, and it’s easy to get confused about what your scalp actually needs.

If it’s been going on for more than 3 months, it’s time to stop guessing and get answers.

Book a free phone chat with us and discover how a microscopic scalp analysis can pinpoint exactly what’s happening beneath the surface so you can treat the cause, not just the symptoms.

Hair loss isn’t just a hair problem.

When you start noticing more hair in the shower, thinning through the part line, or a scalp that will not stop itching, flaking or feeling irritated, it is often a sign that something deeper is happening within the hair growth cycle or the scalp environment.

That’s where we come in.

A trichologist is a specialist in the science of the hair and scalp. Through microscopic scalp analysis, detailed hair assessment and an understanding of the hair growth cycle, we can investigate the underlying factors contributing to hair loss, hair thinning and ongoing scalp conditions.

Because in many cases, the hair is simply reflecting what is happening beneath the surface.

Changes in the scalp environment, disruptions to the hair growth cycle, inflammation around the follicle and nutritional or lifestyle factors can all influence how healthy your hair grows and how long it stays in the growth phase.

When these factors are identified early, the right support and treatment plan can make a significant difference to the future of your hair.
