Back in Australia after a very meaningful visit to the Land of Canaan. There, I invested most of my time at the foot of the Eilat Mountains, in the Sinai Peninsula, where I was born and raised.

This time, I’m slightly adjusting my Planetary Hours in Astro-Herbalism workshop and adding a practical introduction to plant alchemy. I will be holding a small raffle among participants, and everyone will receive one of Herbolico’s plant-alchemised potion-essence to explore consciously during the session with my guidance. At the end of the workshop, the potion will be gifted to you to take home and continue working with.

Our first Beltane Gathering was in 2018, so this year will be our 8th Gathering and it is already shaping up to be an amazing weekend with heaps to see and do for the entire weekend Mum, Dad & Children.

The Sun has entered Scorpio, and honestly, this is one of the seasons I love talking about the most because my Ascendant is Scorpio and my 8th House — the Scorpio house — is the most crowded in my birth chart.

This year, as the Sun entered my Ascendant, I received a phone call from the hospital notifying me that it was time for my long-awaited colonoscopy. Interestingly, the timing aligned perfectly with the energy of Scorpio, which rules that area of the body.

I also want to share that every year, when the Sun enters my Ascendant during Scorpio season, I gain many insights about my health. The Ascendant governs the constitution, the physical body, while the Sun represents consciousness and awareness. I highly recommend focusing your attention when your Sun enters your Ascendant and noticing the insights that arise around your body and health.

Regarding medical astrology ⚕️ 🪐

Scorpio constellation rules the large intestine, the nose, the pelvic region including sexual organs in men and women (along with Libra) and the bladder. The Ta**us-Scorpio axis is very interesting ➡️ it deals with what we take into our body (Ta**us) and the process of transforming and eliminating toxins (Scorpio).

It’s fascinating to understand Scorpio’s role in the energetic network of the universe. Classic Scorpios are true channels for energy transformation ➡️ the ultimate purifiers in the community. With this role comes a challenge ! Scorpio’s constellation energetics is “stagnant water”, so the tendency is to sometimes hold on to emotions and energies.

The question arises ❔️❔️ what happens when the energy isn’t fully transformed? When toxins accumulate and aren’t eliminated ➡️ the answer is clear: weakness in the large intestine, constipation, hemorrhoids, intestinal inflammation, or colon cancer. The body under a survival threat ➡️ toxin accumulation creates physiological stress ➡️ and then the root chakra doesn’t function properly, causing weakness in the pelvic organs.

🧬 I often also see “Scorpio genetics” - exactly the same weakness in these organs appears in several family members.

I want to say, dear Scorpios 🦂 🖤 If you feel weakness in these organs and there is a family history, take it seriously and get checked. I strongly recommend a clean, toxin-free, high-fiber diet and regular consumption of alternative herbs 🌱 that support detoxification, such as dandelion (root and leaf), burdock, cleavers, calendula, nettle leaves, and red clover. Drinking tea works well, but extracts are also effective.
