Treatment of Frozen Shoulder
(Adhesive Capsulitis):
Diagnosis: Ask the patient to raise his/her outstretched hand and If, at around 90 degree, he/she catches sudden pain which limits further upward movement then this is a case of Frozen Shoulder.

Treatment: Just give intra-articular injection - 80 mg of Methyl Prednisolone single dose in the affected Shoulder joint - may need to repeat in 2-3 months time. Apply cold compression with ice bag generously.

Caution: Never apply any kind of hot compression nor apply any kind of 'formal physiotherapy' at all - it will only do harm to the patient and, rather, will incur (useless) extra cost to the patient. In just one month, the patient will forget that she/he ever had shoulder pain!
