We finally got to see the fabulous new neonatal cot that was purchased with the G4G donation this week! The purchase was delayed - which isn't normally the case with the QEH Foundation but they wanted to ensure we got the best product and price. It's gorgeous, and is full almost all of the time! We were surprised that we actually got to see it empty for the photo!

Family violence statistics holding steady Police statistics show no decline in the number of reports of family violence on P.E.I. over the last three to four years.
Just dropped off a trunk load of large bottles of organic baby food, diapers, and formula to the Food Bank! They were very thankful - a huge thank you to all who participated in this year's G4G again and again and again.
Making a stop at the food bank on Monday if anyone has diapers (size 3-4) or formula that they aren't using PM me!
Dropped donations off to Anderson House last week, and they were very thankful! Thank you everyone who contributed!

Here we are presenting the Big Cheque to Tracey Comeau of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation. They'll be ordering the cot soon and we'll post a picture of it when it arrives!
We did it everyone! We raised enough money to buy a neonatal cot at the QEH NICU! Thank you again to everyone who supported this cause. We're not done yet though! Watch this space for exciting updates over the next little while (Chris & Alaina have some things up their sleeves...)

So many thank yous this morning! What a fabulous night we had. Thank to you everyone who came out to raise money for the QEH neonatal unit. We don't have a grand total of funds raised just yet, but we'll update you as soon as we do! HUGE thanks to the lovely The Haviland Club who were so kind and generous in offering their space to us. Thanks also to Deanna from J.C. Styling Inc. for the amazing hand massages we all enjoyed, to Lori for offering tarot card readings, to our helper elves who made the night possible, and to everyone who brought items for Anderson House.
