From hair clippings and colour tubes to foils, excess chemicals, plastics and more, we recycle and recover materials that most businesses simply throw away.

Through our partnership with Green Circle Salons, we also help offset emissions, allowing exhalo Spa Kanata to operate as a carbon-neutral business.

Today, June 26, is National Cancer Wellness Awareness Day in Canada. 🫶 At exhālō Spa, this day holds a very special place in our hearts.

Both our Kanata and Exhālō Barrhaven locations are proud to have team members who have completed advanced oncology training through Oncology Training International, allowing us to provide specialized spa treatments designed to safely support those living with, through, and beyond cancer.
Here in Kanata, that Dream Team Aesthetician is, Marta.

Cancer care is about so much more than medical treatment alone. It is about whole-person wellness - supporting physical comfort, emotional well-being, confidence, dignity, and moments of peace during what can be one of life’s most challenging journeys.

This mission is deeply personal to us. Our Founder, Tanya is herself a cancer survivor and understands firsthand the importance of compassionate care, human connection, and creating spaces where healing can happen in many forms.

Sadly, 1 in 4 Canadians will face a cancer diagnosis during their lifetime. That means nearly every family, friend group, workplace, and community will be touched by cancer in some way.
