My Journey to Optimal Health www.ArtDodd.com I am in the “Wellness Industry”. Kind of a conundrum hey? So what's my Credibility? It’s an unforgiving situation. No.
I represent a company, Max International, that has products proven to increase the body’s own master anti-oxidant “glutathione”. I mention my business because it must seem odd to those of you reading this that a fat man could possibly effectively market products designed to make your body healthier. Because in the Wellness Industry people look at the outside of a person to make a determination of
how credible their products/company are. It makes no difference that I got into this business to help myself get better health. I could stomp up and down and say how unfair it is, but guess what? It’s the reality of the world. We have all been conditioned that we MUST look the part. Is it important that your Financial Planner show up in a nice expensive car or a plain sedan. I’ll bet that you think the person in the expensive car is more successful. I would suggest that the person with the expensive car is more likely to have a big bill owing behind it. But you are fooled into thinking that the facade means that their advice and their company is automatically better because they flash the nicer vehicle. So here’s the only thing I can do at this point – because I’m ALREADY in the Wellness Industry. Prove it through example (and maybe a little inspiration). Think about this. Will you look more favourably at me and my company one year from now because I have lost a bunch of weight? Will it make my personal health better? Absolutely! Will it change what my company and the amazing results our products provide? Will it up my credibility? Indeed! Will it make you look more closely at our product line (even though we don’t have a weight-loss product)? I bet it will. I look forward to serving my business better by upping my Credibility Score.
