- Years of Implantation: Believe it or not, older ink (5+ years) often breaks down faster because your body has already started the work!

- The Layer Cake: If you’ve had multiple touch-ups over the years, we’re dealing with “layers” of pigment. Each layer needs to be shattered and processed by your body before we can reach the next one.
