For the past 5 years, Doll Me Up Beauty Lounge has been one of the greatest chapters of my life. 🤍
What started as a little home studio became a place filled with transformation, trust, laughter, and friendships I'll cherish forever.

I’ve read the philosophy books. I’ve done the healing. I’ve journaled. I’ve reflected. Ya’ll were there with me through it all! Balayage or highlights… which one should you actually get?
It’s not about what’s better, it’s about what fits your lifestyle. Balayage gives you soft, lived-in colour that grows out seamlessly and requires less maintenance. Highlights give you brighter, cleaner blonde with more lift, but they come with regular touch-ups.
The biggest mistake? Asking for balayage while showing highlight photos and expecting low maintenance. The right choice depends on your hair history, your expectations, and how often you want to be in the salon.
