As people age, they start to become isolated and lonely. It’s amazing what a visit once, twice, or three times a week can make. We’ve seen seniors smile again, laugh again, and look young again from just having fun added to their lives.

Do you have a mom or dad that’s in a seniors’ home? We have companions who will pay a visit and talk with mom and dad about the things that bring a smile to their face.

Les services de soutien à l'autonomie des personnes regroupent tous les services dispensés dans un établissement, à domicile ou ailleurs. Ils s’adressent à toutes les personnes qui sont en perte d’autonomie, principalement due à l’avancement en âge.

Tôt ou t**d, une personne vieillissante peut éprouver une perte d’autonomie légère ou prononcée. Elle peut demeurer à domicile avec l’aide de ses proches, d’organismes communautaires ou encore, grâce aux services du réseau de la santé et des services sociaux.

NOT DRIVING ANYMORE?
We have people who can take you to the doctors.
Sometimes it’s not convenient to take the bus or taxi.

If you have medical issues – or have a parent with medical issues – we have caregivers who can drive you or them to appointments. The caregivers will even go into the appointment and take notes so that the family knows what’s going on with mom or dad.

If mom or dad has dementia, often getting them ready to go out can be a bit of work. Our caregivers are experienced with dementia and can get mom or dad ready for the appointment, as well as take them to the appointment. It makes life easy for you if you’re working or have other commitments.

SAMSA a développé un service d’Accompagnement des personnes âgées.
Le but de ce service est de permettre de faciliter les déplacements extérieurs des personnes âgées :

*Rendez-vous médicaux.
*Visite dans la Famille ou chez des Amis.
*Coiffeur.
*Courses.
*Sorties Loisirs ( Cinéma, spectacles, restaurant…)
*Ballade à la campagne, parcs et jardins.
*Lèche-vitrines en centre ville.
*Galeries marchandes.

HOSPITAL TO HOME
We’re with you when you need help after coming home from the hospital.
After a hospital visit, you want to heal as quickly as possible. Did you know that not getting home support after a hospital stay is one of the top causes for people not healing quickly? Or for having to go back into the hospital?

Make sure you heal faster by getting temporary home support. Our care aides can help you with driving you to medical appointments, getting groceries, and whatever else you need to speed up your healing process.

We can even drive you home from the hospital and stay with you as you transition back home.
