Aren't these Tiger's Eye soaps delightful? Scented with the delightfully tropical baja cactus blossom, this soap is truly gender neutral, as well as being wonderfully hydrating and visually impactful. As you use the soap, the crystal is cleansed regularly thanks to its sudsy housing, but is also gradually imbued with your own, personal energy. All of our crystals have been sourced from a Canadian company that ensures the crystals come from ethical and sustainable sources, and the acquisition of these crystals positively supports the local communities from which they were purchased.

These bars are coloured exclusively with activated charcoal, which works to pull toxins out of your skin, leaving your skin refreshed, smooth, and soft.

We've been busy getting ready for the upcoming summer market season, where we're so pleased to be vending at the Banff Farmers Market.⁠

At Fern & Flower Soapworks, we love to show that beautiful, hard soap bars can be made without palm oil, and with no waste with our compostable packaging. All of our soaps are vegan, as we use vegetable and nut oils exclusively. Our bars are extremely hydrating to combat the dry, alpine air of the Rocky Mountains, where we are based. ⁠

Too hot to handle! My Blood Orange and Goji Berry soap is cracking because the internal temperature was too high during the cooling process. I'd wager that this is due to the sugar I added to the lye water in the hopes of getting a frothy lather. During the saponification process, sugar releases heat, which can sometimes result in cracking like this. Hopefully, it will still be lovely on the inside! We'll see during the cut tomorrow!
