🍱 time to talk soy.
It’s in, like, everything. And while many studies show there are some real health benfits to eating soy, there are also studies that show it really mess with your hormones.
Sadly, facing thyroid challenges means that, for me, the benefits don’t outweigh the negatives. So bye bye soya sauce.
But then I realized I had to say goodbye to a lot of other foods too. It’s in everything, from peanut butter to vegetable oil.
So I avoid a lot of foods, but sometimes you just need a good old splash of soya sauce. Thankfully, the Independent sells fake soya sauce. It tastes great, and as the label says, it’s “perfectly salted”.
Should you give up soy? That’s up to you and your healthcare provider. The benefits for you may outweigh the negatives.

✨so I’ve been a little radio silent..
Lots of big things happened in 2022. Also, 681 days later, I lost my yoga streak. Not because of childbirth, I managed to keep it then, but because I was out at a party and came home and fed my baby and forgot. is real, yo.
