I am deeply grateful to have been part of the Catrinas Fashion Show at Expo México Mujer CA Canada, bringing each character to life through artistic makeup.

Each design was created with heart, inspired by the richness of Mexican culture and the beauty of one of our most emblematic traditions. Seeing each Catrina come to life on stage was a moment I will never forget.

As an artist, I never imagined that a hobby would become such a great passion and a tool that would open doors for me and accompany me on my immigration journey to Canada.

I never imagined that a simple hobby would become one of the greatest passions of my life.

🎨💀 Catrinas came to me as a way to express my creativity, but over time they transformed into something much bigger: a refuge, an opportunity, and a way to reconnect with myself amidst my migration journey.

Between changes, fears, and new beginnings, art saved me, gave me purpose, and reminded me that even far from home we can flourish by doing what we love.

Each Catrina I paint carries a piece of my story, my dreams, and the woman I am becoming. ✨🖤

✨ Don’t let obstacles, other people’s opinions, or slow results make you forget why you started. Working on what you love isn’t always easy; there will be days of doubt, fatigue, and moments when you feel like you’re progressing more slowly than you expected. But every practice, every attempt, and every small achievement brings you closer to your goal. Keep learning, keep creating, and keep believing in your talent. Passion doesn’t eliminate challenges, but it does give you a powerful reason to overcome them. 💜🎨

I know I sometimes take a little while to edit and share my event content 🙈✨, but the truth is, I’m always so focused on giving my best during every service that afterward I need a moment to sit down and relive all those special memories.

Today, while editing this video, I smiled again remembering this beautiful experience at the Cinco de Mayo festival. Seeing the children’s excitement, their surprised faces when they saw the verse in the mirror, and the joy with which they showed off their designs is something that never fails to move me 💖🎨

Behind every brushstroke is so much love, dedication, and passion for what I do. It’s not just about painting faces, but about creating special moments, bringing smiles, and adding a little bit of magic to every event ✨🌈

I may not be the fastest at editing videos, but I am someone who deeply loves her work and puts her heart into every detail. And in the end, that’s what motivates me to keep growing, learning, and sharing each of these beautiful experiences with you all 🫶🏻

Today I had one of those experiences that reminds me why I started down this path ✨🎨

I had the opportunity to work at a school, sharing my art with so many amazing children, and honestly, there’s nothing more beautiful than seeing their eyes light up with excitement as they choose what they want to become for a moment 🦋🦸🏻‍♀️🐯✨

Every smile, every “wow” when they see themselves in the mirror, and every spontaneous hug makes all the effort completely worthwhile 💖

Being a face painter for me isn’t just about painting faces… it’s about creating little moments of happiness, helping children imagine, play, and feel special. It’s about bringing color, joy, and magic to places where a simple touch can turn an ordinary day into an unforgettable memory 🌈

Today I finished tired, but with a very full heart. So grateful to everyone who trusts in my work, to every school, family, and event that opens its doors to me so I can do what I love most 🫶🏻
