4 years ago.. I decided to take a chance, risk it all for a dream and a big belief of what was to come. But truly I’m not sure I had any idea of what was to come!

I was pregnant at the time… and little did I know, I would welcome 3 more boys earthside before this business ever turned four. There were moments I stepped away, moments I had to relearn, rebuild, and navigate more than I ever expected — both in life and in business.

When I started, I truly had no idea what I was doing. I just knew I had to figure it out… and somehow, through all the chaos, growth, and change, something really beautiful was built. And I figured it out.

I am so incredibly proud, grateful, and honestly emotional when I think about what we’ve created at The Design Room. This space has always felt like more than just a salon to me — it’s something I hold so deeply in my heart. Every door closed, every hard day, every unanswered question lead me closer to where I am today.

To our clients, over the years and today — thank you. Thank you for supporting us, for trusting us, and for continuing to walk through our doors. We would never be here without you. Everyday truly feels like a gift.

To my team — thank you for trusting me, trusting my vision, and growing alongside me. For pivoting when I’ve asked, for believing in the process, and for showing up every single day with so much heart. You are such a huge part of this story, and I could have never done this without you. ( growing a team is hard… and I am so PROUD of mine 🥹 )

And to my husband and my boys — thank you for your patience, your sacrifices, and your love through it all. You’ve shared so much of me with this dream, and you’ve always believed it would be worth it.

The last 4 years have changed me in every way. They’ve pushed me, shaped me, and shown me what I’m capable of even when I didn’t believe it myself. When I didn’t know what was next or how to navigate.. I kept showing up, I never stopped.

Somehow… this still feels like just the beginning. 🤍
