This batch feels like a turning point for me 😍
When I first started, I experimented with almond oil and even olive oil… and they worked, but something always felt a little off.
They sat on the skin longer than I liked, and I kept thinking… there has to be something better.
So I switched to jojoba oil.
And now I get it. 🌟
It absorbs so much nicer, feels lighter, and actually melts into the skin instead of just sitting on top. Even my son noticed right away… he said this one feels way better and didn’t make him want to wash it off like the others 🥹
That was everything for me.
The more I learn, the simpler I want things to be. And this combination just makes sense.

I didn’t realize how much goes into making clean, skin-safe tallow until I started doing it myself 💛
This is the difference between my first dry render and the second…
and I’m currently working on the third ✨
🚫 That thick layer you see in the first render?
That’s impurities… and exactly what we don’t want going on our skin.
It’s also the part people usually picture when they think of tallow 😅
My process always starts with 1 wet render,
then multiple dry renders until it’s fully purified.
For this batch:
1 wet + 3 dry renders ✨
Each round helps remove:
• impurities
• moisture
• anything that could affect texture or shelf life
The goal is a tallow that’s smooth, stable, and gentle enough for sensitive skin 🤍
It takes time… but that’s what makes it different 🥰

Life paused this batch for a little while 🤍
Between Ramadan, sick days, the kids, and all the new spring babies… I had to step away from the process.
But this is the beauty of slow, intentional products.
Nothing is rushed.
Rendering tallow isn’t a one-and-done thing. It’s a gentle process of heating, cooling, and refining over time to remove impurities, soften the scent, and leave behind something truly clean and nourishing for your skin. ✨
And now that life has settled again… I’m back to it.

Great tallow starts with careful preparation. 🥰
Before rendering, I trim away veins and tougher pieces to keep the fat as pure as possible and to help reduce the natural beefy scent that can develop when this step is skipped.

Before it ever reaches a jar, great tallow starts with one important decision. The fat.
I choose suet every time because of its purity, skin-supporting vitamins, and the soft, luxurious texture it creates once rendered.
And when it comes to sourcing? Local will always come first for me. 💛 Knowing exactly where my ingredients come from matters, not just for quality, but for the integrity behind every product I share with you.
