Thank you to YesStyle | K-Beauty & Fashion & ISNTREE Official for inviting me to review the Hyaluronic Acid product line. While products have been sent for review, all opinions are my own.
I love that these products are incredibly lightweight and don’t require waiting time between steps. This is super important to me when getting ready in the mornings. Neither sunscreen caused white cast or stinging/watery eyes which is a pain point I’ve experienced with countless others.

How I choose my hair products & layer them:
I often get asked for product recommendations but tbh, my criteria is probably different from yours. As a stylist, I HATE doing my own hair, but love having beautiful shiny locks. So some work is required, but I will always choose the easiest route FOR MYSELF. (Clients get pampered in the salon, that’s different.)
For example, the product packaging must be easy to use. I’m done with spray bottles that clog or are uncomfortable to sq**rt out LOL. It could be the most luxurious, glorious thing in the world, but if the packaging sucks, I’m reaching for something else.
In terms of layering, I like to go from the thinnest consistency (watery) to the thickest (oil). This is the same principle I use in my skincare, and I’m liking the results so far. This method can be used with any combination of products. I honestly don’t have much brand loyalty and I’m always trying new things.
One key thing to note: heat protectant comes in many different forms and they have different uses. You don’t need everything, just pick what suits you and your lifestyle the most. Styling from wet? Use a thicker heat protectant that dries into the hair. Styling on dry and/or second day hair? Use an aerosol heat protectant that dries almost instantly.

When you need to show what grey blending without bleach is… you become your own hair model. 🤭
I know grey blending has long been understood as the crazy platinum card service that takes dark artificial colour and turns it into beautiful seamless salt & pepper or platinum hair for easy grow out. But what if your client is limited by their budget and/or their time? Use what they naturally have to your advantage!
This is NOT for those who want 100% coverage. This is simply for those who don’t want a harsh line of demarcation and don’t mind having some hair ✨sparkles✨ but just want to reduce the contrast for a softer grow out.
My hot take is that I actually WANT to have MORE greys and I’m not scared of aging. 🤷🏻‍♀️

The THICCest hair I’ve ever worked with. I only see her once a year and the grow out is always nice and soft. 👌
Vivid colours, especially pastel ones like this require 2 toners for true colour payoff. This means extra time and product are necessary, so be prepared to spend hours in the chair. ⏰
I call pastel purple the “gateway” vivid colour since it fades pretty naturally back to an ashy blonde and doesn’t require a longtime commitment to the vivid lifestyle. 😁

Trends come and go, but balayage (foilayage) will always have my heart. 😍 Swipe to see the before!

Bronde and blendy, for the summer, she’s ready. 👌
I’ve been busy and IG has taken a backseat in my life lately. Thank you to the clients who keep me booked and it’s so fulfilling to see the same names over and over again. 😭

Straight blends on long layered hair is just 👌
My beautiful client gets her hair done about once a year and we alternate between full and partial foils. I know she’s got colour built up on her ends, so she has an ombré look after so many visits with me. Hair is able to grow as healthy as it can even with bleaching. No breakage and weak points here. 😍

Huge colour transformation from grown out 🍊 to pastel 💜
This colour took all day and required colour between and in foils. 😮‍💨 I don’t get to do these colour corrections as often anymore, but man do I feel like flexing when I can. 💪 Our goal can’t be perfection, but I always strive for progress towards the hair goal. Sometimes the hair of the clients’ dream isn’t attainable when there’s hair history. A thorough consultation will give you a plan, and in corrections, you need to learn how to pivot and problem solve when the need arises. 🫡

Lighting will change everything! She asked for a low maintenance balayage and asked about peek a boo highlights. I loved the idea but I wanted to incorporate the previous blonde she already had. I focused most of the foils on the “halo” section around the hairline (front, back and sides) and the middle portion that would normally be left dark, I did very low teasy-lights for easy maintenance.
As always, lightener and colour keeps hair strong, especially when going bright! I’ve never had so little instances of breakage in my career. 🤯

So satisfying to be able to go light in one session with NO breakage. 🤩
I used all lightener and colour for this look. The collagen powder and Olaplex kept the hair strong. 💪
