I don’t see this on the news over the holidays, but the icon Brigitte Bardot passed away on December 28, 2025.

As makeup artists she is a face and hairstyle we always refer to and time is discussed when planning out and era for a show or shoot based on her arrival on screen changing fashion forever.

This sweet girl was born during a NYE party 16 years ago!
We’ve been best friends since she was 9 weeks old, and I counts imagine life without her. She’s such a wonderful soul and I’ve been blessed to have her beside me through all of life’s ups and downs.

Happy Birthday to our little Gromette 🎉

Today she turns 6 and has brought so much love and laughter into our lives, we couldn’t imagine a day without her little fuzzy face!

Yesterday my friend lost her 7.5 month old grandson, her daughter lost her son, and their family lost his little spark of joy. He was born with an illness was we unfortunately do not have a cure for yet, and he fought far longer than most babies have with this terrible disease. He will be missed.

Spent my birthday saying goodbye to our first home, my husband who is staying in LA for work, and driving to Canada.

It’s the definition of bittersweet.
Im so happy to be headed home - to family and friends and winter wonderland, but I am heartbroken leaving my husband behind to work. I feel like I’ve left 1/2 of my heart 1500 miles away. This is 1 step in a multi-step plan for a better future for our family, just have to look to the future, together.
