Locs need more maintenance in the first 6-12 months if you have loose curly hair texture.

Internal loc cleaning is an essential part of loc grooming. Once a year locs should be trimmed or cleaned thoroughly and soaked in whatever oils you use..I like to.add a few drops of lavender oil or rose.
Since we can't put our dreads in a clothes dryer to remove the lint, we have to remove what can't be seen.

Soaking your locs in oils soften dry ends.
De-locing ungroomed Asian dreads back to the original shape using Nature Waves creme. Trim into layers... but really the first thing I wanted to do was chop it off but I was up for a new challenge
