From the garden to your lips.
This is the story behind my Lemon Balm Lip Rescue, one of my most loved products, and one of the most personal.
The lemon balm grows in my garden and at peak potency, I harvest it by hand. I then cold infuse it in sweet almond oil for eight full weeks. No heat, no shortcuts. Just time and intention.
Only then does it become the Lemon Balm Lip Rescue: soothing, calming, and deeply restorative for lips that need a little extra love.
This is what small-batch skincare actually looks like — rooted in the land, unhurried, and made with the kind of care that takes months before it ever reaches your hands.
Shop Lemon Balm Lip Rescue in my online shop or at on of my beloved stockists.

Restock my shelf with me. ✨
I was over at The Storehouse on Main Street today, freshening my shelf in time for Mother’s Day.
I’ve added four new soaps to the mix. Now there are eight varieties to choose from in store, all handmade in small batches with locally grown botanicals.
If someone on your list deserves a little something this Mother’s Day — or if that someone is you — stop by and find something tp indulge in.

Romance doesn’t have to be elaborate.

Sometimes it’s just choosing softness, warmth, and intention—without asking more of yourself than you have to give.
Right now my favourite low-effort, high-romance self-keeping ideas look like:
• Shower steamers that turn an ordinary rinse into something restorative and sensory
• An aroma roller within reach—pulse points, deep breaths, an instant reset
• Lighting a candle and letting the room glow while the day unwinds
Steam, warmth, and essential oils rising as you wash the day away.
A breath that slows you down.
A flicker of light.
Low effort. High romance.

Because caring for yourself can feel indulgent without being complicated.

I’m romancing my routine.
Winter evenings. Warm water. Washing the day away.
That moment when everything gets quiet and I turn my attention inward.
Lately, my nighttime ritual looks like this:
• Yarrow Wild Rose Face + Body Bar — a gentle cleanse infused with skin-loving botanicals
• Sweetgrass + Lavender Toner — grounding hydrosols and hyaluronic acid to calm, balance, and hydrate
• Yarrow Wild Rose Facial Oil — sunflower and castor oils drench my skin with moisture to restore it’s vibrancy and natural glow while my skin rests overnight
Yarrow to soothe and restore without stripping.
Wild rose to replenish vitamins and essential fatty acids.
Lavender and sweetgrass to hydrate, balance, and soften the evening.
Sunflower oil to mirror the skin’s natural sebum perfectly and support repair.
Castor oil to draw in moisture, seal it in, and leave skin soft, plump, and glowing.
A love letter to my skin.
A ritual I look forward to all day.
Self-keeping, after dark. 🌙

January is never an easy month to get through…but over the last few years, January has felt extra heavy.Â
So if you’re struggling a bit, I see you. I am too.
I find self-keeping doesn’t look the same even season. Capacities shift with the daylight.
Maybe what you need most right now is actually long walks and early bedtimes.
Maybe it’s buying yourself some tulips and binging your favourite comfort watch.
And in those moments, making self-care as easy as possible will help you feel less fatigued. I find layering in my rituals helps keep it light.
Add a short foot massage with my Lavender Salve before bed and sleep like a baby.
Light a Lavender Essential Oil candle to set the relaxing mood.
When the world feels increasingly heavy and uncertain, a moment to pause, breathe, and be present can change everything.
A moment of softness can be the difference that helps us keep going.
We got this.
