We did this balayage for my lovely client back in November, and because her natural base is quite dark, the regrowth had become very visible. She absolutely loved how the balayage had turned out, so our goal was to maintain the same beautiful tone while bringing the balayage higher to soften and break up the darkness.

I always believe it’s important to offer different options to clients so they fully understand the process and can choose what works best for their lifestyle and goals.

Originally, we had booked her appointment for just a toner. However, I really loved how the existing tone had held up, and since she was still enjoying the color, I didn’t want to change it unnecessarily. Instead, we discussed the options of a full head, half head, or partial balayage.

In the end, we chose a partial balayage because our main concern was refreshing the areas that are most visible. Since my client usually wears her hair down, this approach allowed us to maintain the look she loves while keeping the appointment more customized and low maintenance.
