I just wanted to let everyone know that, after giving it a lot of thought and for a variety of personal reasons, I've decided that I will no longer be writing knitting patterns.

This wasn't a decision I made lightly, as creating patterns has been such a meaningful part of my knitting journey. I'm incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported my work over the years by purchasing my patterns, sharing your finished projects, offering encouragement, and being part of this wonderful community. Your support has meant more to me than I can express.

Although I won't be designing any new patterns, my Etsy shop - www.etsy.com/shop/PeartreeKnitting - will remain open, and all of the patterns I've already published will continue to be available for purchase whenever you'd like them.

Knitting itself isn't going anywhere. It continues to bring me so much joy, peace, and comfort, and I look forward to spending more time simply creating for the love of it. From time to time, I'll also be offering some of my finished knitted pieces for sale, and those will be available through my website - www.peartreeknitting.com.

Thank you again for being part of this chapter with me. I truly appreciate each and every one of you, and I hope you'll continue to follow along as I share my knitting journey in this new way.

A new cardigan in the works - the Colio Cardigan.

It's a lighter weight, oversized, shorter cardigan. I will be writing the pattern for this, but also, it may be one that I will make to sell. We'll see how it turns out. 🤞

I'm over here still sewing up projects! 🪡

Meet the County Road Cardigan. I hope to have the pattern out late Fall. It's created in 2 pieces that are sewn together, so will be great for beginner knitters.

I used a tweed yarn from Caron Simply Soft giving the cardigan a wonderful texture.

I have one more project to sew up and that is for a customer. Hopefully will get that done this weekend too!

It's a beautiful sunny day here, so off for a dip in the pool.

p.s. don't mind the dog crate in the picture. 🐾 We’re still training our puppy.

I finished sewing up this sweater this afternooon. I still have to weave in the ends though. 🙄 I used Stylecraft Yarns Soft Baby Easy Stripes.

It's a lighter weight so will be good for the Spring and cooler Summer days. It's similar in construction to my Brunch Anyone Sweater but with an added ribbing on the bottom and around the sleeves. I'm calling this one "Lunch With Friends Tee" 🥪

I'm switching things up a bit at Peartree Knitting and will be trying my hand at selling finished products. I will still sell patterns, but would like to sell cardigans too.

I will be coming up with a couple of patterns based on what you told me and this will take some time. I'm hoping to have a few to sell by Fall.

Loving this tweed yarn from Caron Simply Soft. Perfect for a Fall cardigan.

I'm calling this one The County Road Cardigan. It should be out in August (if it turns out! LOL!).
