As someone who’s dealt with eczema for most of my life, I was told from a young age that certain foods could contribute to my flare-ups.
Dairy.
Soy sauce.
Certain seafood.
Even eggs.
The problem?
I loved many of those foods.
So for years, I did what many of us do.
I managed the symptoms.
Used the creams.
Applied the lotions.
Bought the skincare products.
And hoped for the best.
Over time, I started noticing something.
My skin wasn’t just responding to what I put on it.
It was also responding to what was happening inside my body.
Stress.
Poor sleep.
Too much sugar.
Processed foods.
Dehydration.
Certain foods that didn’t agree with me.
The more attention I paid, the more I realized my skin was often trying to tell me when something wasn’t working well for my body.
Today, I still love skincare.
I still love facials and performing them.
I still love learning about ingredients, skin barrier health, Korean skincare, and facial massage.
But I no longer believe healthy skin comes from products alone.
I believe healthy skin is supported from both directions.
From the outside:
✨ Consistent skincare
✨ Hydration
✨ Protecting the skin barrier
✨ Daily SPF
And from the inside:
✨ Whole, nutrient-dense foods
✨ Protein
✨ Water
✨ Sleep
✨ Stress management
✨ Gut health
✨ Being mindful of foods that contribute to inflammation
Because healthy skin is rarely about one miracle product.
It’s usually the result of many small habits working together over time.
And while I can’t stop the aging process, I can support my skin so it looks and feels its healthiest at every stage of life.
💛 Have you ever noticed certain foods, stress, lack of sleep, or other lifestyle habits affecting your skin?

For most of my career, people have known me for lashes, brows, and building beauty businesses.
But there’s another side of my story.
I’ve been an esthetician for 25 years, and over the years I’ve personally navigated eczema, sensitive skin, inflammation, changing skin in midlife, and the frustration of trying products that didn’t always help.
For years, that journey has led me down a path of learning about skin barrier health, ingredients, nutrition, inflammation, and the daily habits that help support healthy skin from the inside out.
More recently, it’s sparked a deeper passion for advanced facial sculpting massage techniques, Korean skincare philosophies, and the slow-aging rituals that help skin look and feel its healthiest at every stage of life.
This page is where I’ll be sharing more of that.
Not perfect skin.
Not unrealistic expectations.
Just real conversations about aging skin, healthy habits, facial massage, Korean skincare, skin barrier health, eczema-friendly tips, and life as a woman in her late 40s.
If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed by skincare advice, frustrated with your skin, or simply want to learn how to better support your skin as it changes with age, you’re in the right place.
I’m so glad you’re here. 💛
