Today I visited Amir Peled in Kfar Shmaryahu, in what felt to me like an “Alexander-land.”
Amir is an Alexander Technique teacher who brings together curious people who love the Alexander Technique. They practice, exchange lessons, and learn from one another. I taught and received lessons, and pity that at some point I had to leave.
Many thanks to Nadav Ovadia, who is training to teach the Alexander Technique with Meir Amit, for inviting me to the gathering.

I am so happy and grateful that I could help — remotely — a mother give birth.
By combining my experience as an Alexander Technique teacher with my own experience of giving birth naturally twice, I could guide you toward greater presence, ease, and trust during childbirth.
I can support you in reconnecting with your body, your breath, and your natural ability to give birth with awareness and confidence.
Feel free to contact me for more information ✨

A small laundry experiment
Do you also ignore the laundry pile until it becomes… unavoidable?
This morning I finally faced mine. Lots of sheets and duvet covers—my least favorite things to fold.
At some point I picked one up and wondered:
How long does it actually take to fold a duvet cover?
So I tried it.
Less than a minute.
In my mind, “folding the laundry” feels like a huge, exhausting task. But when I looked at the actual action, it was just one minute.
That simple question changed something.
Ten minutes = about ten pieces. Suddenly the whole thing felt manageable.
I ended up folding much more than I expected, and without the usual dread.
It reminded me of something I often see in the Alexander Technique:
when we pause and look at what an action actually requires, it’s often much simpler than the story we’ve built around it.
Sometimes the hardest part of a task isn’t the task itself.
It’s the mental weight we attach to it.
I’m curious—
is there a small task in your life that feels bigger than it actually is?
