I discuss one of my most difficult cases involving a client with melasma who had been on birth control for years.
Multiple doctors told her to accept the condition or that it wasn’t related to her medication. ( the ignorance irritates me so much!)
I explain how I identified that she was using the wrong skincare products—while they were quality products, they lacked the specific ingredients needed to address melasma, especially when combined with underlying rosacea and inflammation.
I share how the right skincare routine with proper anti-inflammatory and pigmentation-fighting ingredients made a real difference for her.

✨ I love powder sunscreen for SPF reapplication throughout the day… but not all powder SPFs are created equal.
If you’re dealing with acne, rosacea, or sensitive skin, I usually prefer Noon Brush & Go.
Its formula contains ingredients with antimicrobial and soothing properties, making it a great option for skin that’s prone to breakouts, redness, and irritation.
Of course, the most important sunscreen is the one you’ll actually reapply consistently.

If you have melasma, protection against visible light and blue light matters just as much as UV protection. That’s why I often lean toward the ZO Powder Sunscreen, which contains ingredients that help provide additional protection against the triggers that can worsen pigmentation.

My quick guide:
✔️ Melasma → ZO Powder Sunscreen✔️ Acne / Rosacea → Noon Brush & Go
Of course, the most important sunscreen is the one you’ll actually reapply consistently. Powder SPF isn’t a replacement for your morning sunscreen, but it’s one of the easiest ways to top up your protection without ruining your makeup.
