Recently, I had few clients who wanted to return to their naturally curly hair after having a keratin straightening treatment.

And there’s something very important I need to say.

If you decide to undergo a chemical treatment that changes your hair structure from curly to straight, don’t expect a single appointment to bring back your natural curl pattern.

Especially if the keratin treatment is still present in your hair.

Hair that has been chemically straightened will not suddenly become naturally curly again. Your natural curl pattern only appears in the new hair that grows from the roots.

That’s why the journey back to curls is not a one-time appointment — it’s a process. Sometimes it takes months, and sometimes even years, depending on your hair length and how fast your hair grows.

During this time, we focus on proper hair care, encourage your natural curl pattern, and gradually trim away the straightened lengths.

So before deciding on a treatment that takes only a few hours, remember that returning to your natural curls may require much more time, patience, and commitment. ✨🌿
