ESSENTIAL OILS: PAIN RELIEF

Ever had a tension headache or sore muscles that just won’t give up and just relax?

I swear by Lavender, Peppermint, Eucalyptus, and Rosemary to help ease discomfort naturally! They work wonders for muscle aches, joint pain, and even headaches. I love making my own DIY relief blends—like a soothing pain relief balm, a muscle soak, or a cooling massage oil (swipe for the recipes! 😉).

All recipes have guidance on dermal limits according to IFRA.

Just mix a few drops with a carrier oil and massage it in—your body will thank you.

4 EASY WAYS TO LET LOVE IN - ONE AWKWARD STEP AT A TIME!

After years of marriage and, oh yeah, growing an entire human, I feel like I’ve run the ultra-marathon of love—learning how to love my partner, my child, my family, even my neighbors’ cat .

 But the one love I’m still figuring out? The one with myself. 

Why is it that we can shower others with love, attention, and thoughtful gestures, but when it comes to ourselves, we suddenly forget how to function? It’s like my brain short-circuits at the thought of actually prioritizing me—like, “Nah girl, you’re good, let’s do something for literally anyone else instead.”

And if you’ve ever felt like love just isn’t making its way into your life, trust me, you’re NOT alone! Many of us unknowingly build emotional walls thanks to past heartbreaks, self-doubt, or a subconscious fear of turning into one of those people who writes “live, laugh, love” on their walls.

Very often when you start with one thing it has a knock on effect and over time it compounds and you’ll feel more love than you know what to do with! 

I’m sharing 4 easy ways to let love in and stop emotionally gatekeeping yourself:

1. Love Yourself First! You can’t pour from an empty cup (trust me, I’ve tried). Prioritize self-care and self-acceptance—bubble baths with essential oils of course are encouraged. 
2. Lean on Your Support System! Surround yourself with people who genuinely care about you
3. Challenge Negative Thoughts! Catch yourself when you spiral into “I don’t deserve this” mode and flip the script—because yes, queen, you absolutely do.
4. Be Open & Vulnerable! Real connections happen when you let yourself be seen… even if it feels terrifying.

40g Sweet Almond oil
20g Shea Butter
3g Beeswax


COOL DOWN STAGE 
1g Lavender Essential oil 
24g Magnesium Oil
10g Aloe Vera gel
1g Vitamin E
1g Geogard 221 Preservative 

HOW TO MAKE IT
 1. Measure Ingredients: Start by measuring out your Sweet Almond oil, shea butter, beeswax, Lavender Essential oil, magnesium Oil, aloe vera gel and vitamin E.

2. Melt Ingredients: In a bain-marie, slowly melt the shea butter, beeswax, and calendula oil together until fully combined.

 3. Cool the Mixture: Once melted, remove the mixture from heat and cool it in a cool water bath until it reaches 40 degrees Celsius.

4. Add Final Ingredients: Stir in your aloe vera gel, magnesium oil, essential oils and vitamin E.

5. Freeze it: Put the mixture in the freezer for 10 mins to cool down and solidify slightly. 

6. Whisk it: Remove the cream from the freezer and whisk until you have a creamy texture.
