Saying goodbye

This beautiful place.
It will always be here for me.
Although it will be different next time.
The trees will have grown, the grass will have grown, maybe the berries will be out.
The birds chirping, life all around me, so abundant.
It will always be here for me.
Whether as a memory, or as a changed but familiar place where I feel connected to everything.
I don’t have to say goodbye, because it will always be here for me.

Me: Moving too, little one?

🐌 Yep, but I'm traveling light.

Me: Wish I could say the same. I'm buried under mountains of stuff! Time to dump it all!

🐌 Well, that's the price of being a pack-rat. Me? I'm just a shell of my former self, always ready to roll.

Me: Haha, true. Maybe I should shell out for some minimalist tips from you! I could do with losing some weight… 😝

I’ve started reading ‘Meditations’ after several friends and interesting people recommended it.

It’s written in short paragraphs and my experience is almost always as follows:

Reads paragraph… “Heh????”

Reads paragraph again… “What???”

Reads paragraph again… “Um….”

Goes to bed and hopes insights will magically come to me during slumber 😝🤩

Anyone else have a similar experience? 😻

🌸 Self-Care Sunday 🌸

My last sauna with what has become very familiar people was one of many ’lasts’ I will be facing in the coming days. I will certainly miss the lively conversations.

And to get me through the stressful times I am facing, I have been writing down some ideas.

Here are 3 of them:

🐾 take a walk with the dogs
😻 cuddles with kitties
🍀 deep breathing, including the physiological sigh
