How to care for a brooch with natural feathers?🪶

❣️ Store feather jewelry hanging or in a box so that the feathers do not deform.

❣️ Do not wear feather jewelry under outerwear. So they can quickly deteriorate and break.

❣️ If the decoration is wrinkled? You can try to restore it to its original form. Wet and smooth a little with your fingers.

❣️ If you get caught in the rain? No problem. Dry the feathers carefully. Periodically run clean fingers over the feathers, smoothing it and the feather will take on its previous shape.

This brooch was inspired by the traditional Ukrainian talisman "Motanka" 🇺🇦

It was an amulet and talisman for the family. 👩‍👩‍👧‍👦 Appropriate dolls were created for different life situations.
The main difference between Motanka and the usual dolls is the lack of a face. The contours of the face on the Motanka dolls are presented in the form of interweaving of multi-colored threads, in the form of a cross.

Ukrainians believed that the spirit of the family is present in the doll, which protects its family members from all kinds of troubles and transmits age-old wisdom and knowledge to future generations.
