I always have been crazy about beauty products, make-up, the theory of the skin and hair, and how you can make you + other people make them look and feel better.
Down below I’ll explain a little history about why and how I became a hairdresser and a beauty-specialist.

11 years ago, when I was about 17 years old. I entered the beauty school. Of course, as a teenager, I didn’t like to go to school that much. But at the same time, I really loved that I could say: “I go to school today, and we’re going to learn how to give a massage”, because it also meant, that you we’re GETTING the massage (lol).
Now, who prefers sitting behind the school-desks, learning all day long from a book? I don’t!
I just knew I needed to do something with my hands. I’m a creative person, I like to learn new things, but it needs to have my interests.
I had an internship in a small beauty-salon, the owner did everything from massages, facial treatments, nails, make-up etc. I really learned a lot and still, I would like to have a little beauty-salon like that.
When I finished I was looking for a job as a beauty specialist in Holland, but there was nothing available that moment so I started working at Zara the clothes shop. While working there, I was thinking... “This is not what I want, I want to do/learn more”
From Beauty-specialist to Hairdresser
