Did you know that over 20% of fresh produce in the UK never even makes it to supermarket shelves because of strict cosmetic standards? 🍓❌ Big corporate supermarkets reject perfectly good, delicious strawberries every single day(!!) simply because they think they’re “ugly.” We think that’s 💩

As you may have seen in our last video, we recently headed out on a rescue mission to 🚜💚 to save as many Class 2 strawberries as we could, turning what would have been compost into pure (strawberry-flavoured) liquid gold 🥂🍾

Huge thanks to Alex and her amazing team for working with us on this batch! Supporting real family farms and standing up against wasteful supermarket culture is one of core values and we’re so proud to share a product that supports the people who feed us 🙏🌾

You definitely won’t find this on big supermarket shelves! 🚫🛒 Because it’s made with real rescued fruit, this batch is extremely limited. Grab yours today from our website or through our wonderful independent local stockists before it’s gone forever! 📦👇

Can you BELIEVE these delicious strawberries are not good enough for UK supermarkets?! 🍓💫😱

In the UK, over 20%(!!) of produce is rejected before it even reaches our shelves because it fails strict “cosmetic” standards… what a load of 💩

This in mind, we went to the wonderful in Rochester on a rescue mission: to save as many “Class 2” (that’s “not good enough” in Big Supermarket speak) strawberries as we could. 🍓❤️

After an incredible tour of the farm—thank you, Alex!—we loaded up the van with nearly 250kg of fresh, delicious strawberries that were otherwise destined for compost. 🚐🍓🙌

I am SO proud of this! If you love strawberries, then you’d be mad not to rush out and try some! Stock is extremely limited, so make sure you don’t miss out, as when it’s gone, it’s gone until next year! ⏳❤️

ELDERFLOWER RESTOCK! You guys sold us out of the first batch so quick! We’re restocked and ready for you again this week! 🌼

Join me and Ed for part 3 of our lovely elderflower foraging day, back in late May! The whole long form video is now up on our YouTube channel also - of which you can find the link to in our bio 🔗

If you haven’t tried this before then what are you waiting for!! Available on our website or at your nearest stockist (if they have stock)! 🏃‍♀️

ELDERFLOWER IS SOLD OUT… FOR A MOMENT! First batch went fast, second batch is on the way! 🫡🚨🌼

Join me and Ed again on the hottest day in May when we had a glorified hang out session, foraging for elderflowers (it was meant to be my day off).

Elder is such a lovely plant to engage with, and a very generous one too. Please be mindful of your impact when foraging, but there is a reason this one is popular and generally considered very beginner friendly 💚

The next batch of elderflower kombucha will be ready next week 🌞

ELDERFLOWER IS BACK 🌼

If you haven’t been fast asleep for the last couple of weeks then you will have noticed that our summer staple, Elderflower kombucha, is BACK! 🥳

What a delight it is every year making this seasonal treat, bottling up the flavour of early Summer 🌞

Join me and Ed swanning about the countryside on the hottest day of the year thus far (to be topped in a couple of days) in the new electric van (more on this soon)! 🚛

I have had a few customers say to me over the years that this is genuinely “the best drink they have ever tasted” - I am touched by these kinds of statements, thank you for sharing. 🤍

Curious? Try for yourself! As always, website link is in the bio 🔗🫧

It took me 3 years to successfully make this nettle kombucha! 🫠

If at first you don’t succeed, try try and try again! And I’m really glad I did as this has become a Spring seasonal favourite since finally cracking the golden ratio last year. 🥇

Nettles are an incredible, nutrient powerhouse of a plant! So much so that they can be quite hard to ferment with, as I discovered. But when successfully fermented, our happy microbes further amplify their nutritional value - winnerrr 💥

For those that are yet to try it, the flavour is sweet and earthy with herbaceous notes and hints of cucumber and gentle lime. Spring in a bottle! 🌿

Nettles contain natural antihistamine and last year a few customers told me that it was really helping their hay fever symptoms, which was very cool to hear! As ever, this is not health advice - please do your own research and try for yourself to see what works for you 🌼

Go and grab some if you haven’t already, I hope you like it! ❤️

P.s. we lost all the footage from the big forage but went to reshoot on a very cold day with on-off showers, just before the heat wave. Hence me looking quite squirmy and dishevelled 😂

HOPE YOU LIKE CROWN CAPS?! Because that’s what we’ve got for a while! 👑🍾

Thanks to another nice surprise from our bottle supplier, we now have crown caps for a while on our 250ml bottles! It was either this or have no bottles to put kombucha in at all, so hopefully you’ll agree we made the right choice!? 🫠

Hopefully one of these days we’ll actually manage to get a break… but for now, we’ll just keep on trundling on against the wind! 💨

In the meantime, I think they actually look pretty cool! If you’ve picked one up already then you may have noticed they’re a touch heftier too. If you’re missing the screw caps already then rest assured we’ll be through these in the next month or so… in fact, the more you buy, the faster we return to the screw caps! How about that for motivation 😏

Thanks for understanding. 🫣

Love u ❤️

Zak and the team xx

🌸✨ PART 2: Tasting the magical magnolias

After a full day of harvesting magnolia for this year’s seasonal kombucha (out now! 🥂🍾), curator extraordinaire William Dyson took us deeper into the collection at Great Comp Garden for something we’d never done before … a full magnolia tasting session 🌸

With over 80 different species growing in the gardens, we spent the afternoon tasting tepals straight from the trees 🌳 Honestly, the range of flavours blew us away. Some were peppery and ginger-like, others delicate and floral. Every variety had its own character, its own story, and its own potential for future booch making 🫙✨

Huge thank you again to William and all the staff at for letting us into their little world for the day. It’s moments like this that make seasonal brewing so special: getting to work directly with nature, tasting ingredients at their source, and discovering flavours you simply couldn’t dream up in a lab 🍃💫

Grab yourself a bottle while it lasts, and check out PART 1 of this little series on our reels tab 📱🌿🌸

🌸✨Magnolia season has arrived … and it’s one of our favourite times of year.

We’re at near Sevenoaks and William (its curator extraordinaire) has kindly given us access to his 80+ species of magnolia’s for this year’s Magnolia Kombucha harvest 🍃

Magnolias are one of the first signs of spring, and every year they bring a real sense of hope for the warmer months ahead. Did you know they date back millions of years and were once pollinated by beetles before bees even existed? 🪲✨

After a full day of picking, we collected nearly 11kg of fresh magnolia flowers 🌸The result? A truly one-of-a-kind kombucha. It’s a bit like a grown-up cream soda, with notes of vanilla, cardamom, smoke, and spice🥂

Landing with your local stockist very soon … or, if you can’t wait, available direct from our website. Link in bio 🔗

The UK may have forgotten this fruit, but I didn’t. It changed my life🍐✨

Quince, part of the apple & pear family, quietly slipped out of fashion, yet its intensely aromatic, almost tropical, softly perfumed flavour is unforgettable 🌿🌼 I’ve been hooked ever since my grandad handed me a jar of homemade quince jam from his garden when I was a teenager 🍯

Every year, we’re lucky to receive an abundance from friends with trees full of fruit but not enough ways to use it 🙌 Over 100kg of quince, generously donated by Sally at in Faversham and the brilliant 🌳

We teamed up with in Aldington, using their jet washer and fruit scratter. It saved us litterally hours of work and reminding me how special it is to share skills and resources within this community 🤝✨ The generosity in the drinks world never ceases to amaze me 💛

We make enough quince to last through winter into early spring and, true to form, I’m only just talking about it as the season wraps up 😅 If you want a taste, now’s the time ⏳ Grab a bottle before it disappears, or drop a note in your order to make sure it’s included 📦
