Filler and anti wrinkle injections are completely different and it’s so important to know these differences. I often hear “Botox in her lips” or “I don’t want the filler to give me that frozen look”. Botulinum toxin and dermal fillers are two completely different products. Anti wrinkle injections are a neurotoxin and so they reduce the muscle movement in order to prevent wrinkles. Dermal filler consists of hyaluronic acid which is naturally produced in our body and acts to fill creases and add volume/structure.
This post shows some of the different uses of each product and will help you differentiate between the two.
