✨ New year, back to work… ✨

I’m back at the day job today after a couple of weeks off, and it’s been a busy season filled with birthdays, Christmas, family getaways and welcoming in the New Year 🖤✨

I wanted to share the hairstyle I wore on New Year’s Eve because I absolutely loved it. A full braided bun felt so elegant and worked perfectly with this beautiful dress. I wore it to celebrate my gorgeous friend and my amazing PT — such a special night celebrating her BIG birthday.

A huge thank you to for doing a last-minute alteration and saving the day. The dress was absolutely perfect for the black and gold theme ✨🖤

🤍About this week…..

When I first launched Anela the first person I thought of was Sarah. She is a proper raver who always has bright pink and purple braids. I couldn’t wait to do her hair for her. She came armed with her own glow in the dark pink hair. The colour is insane and her massive smile was everything!

I also had the pleasure of braiding her beautiful daughter, who wanted natural braids to keep her hair tidy for school. Such a cute, simple style and she looked gorgeous.

And in between clients, I had a little play myself — creating this braided ponytail on me and my lovely model. Always learning, always experimenting, always loving every second.

🪽All appointment for 2025 have now been taken. Thank you to everyone who has trusted me with their braids so far. I’ll be available in 2026 with an amazing New Year offer.
