Good morning!
Want to appologies for my lack of communication/ ability to arrange appointments the last few months. Trying to juggle pregnancy/fatigue and moving from Bristol and all the other things have made time management terrible!

The little monster is now here, so as soon as we have a routine and things have settled, things will be back in action.

Will be taking appointments from mid May (wait until babys brain has formed a blood brain barrier).

Options for home visits will be opening up to as I no longer hold a space in Bristol, but these will be on a case by case basis.

Looking forward to catching up with all of you.

Ronnie

Not my usual maintenance but had my lovely yearly visit to this lady and we wrapped some more random colours in her hair again and separated a dread at the front that was getting rather chunky and in the way. 😊

Tidy up for Lu today 1hr 45mins , just tightening some of the regrowth from the last 10months or so and layering over a few weak spots. Lush catch up 😊

Died the underside of my friends hair the other day, the tattoo made me giggle didn't see it until she pointed it out 🤣

Saw new client few weeks ago for a maintenence appointment. They have had there hair regularly maintained by someone alse. The roots where rock hard and extremely tight at the scalp, synthetic hair woven in randomly. There are many ways to make dreadlocks but overmaintence can have sometimes be more damaging than neglect.

In the 10+ years I've bee working with dreads I have had to turn a client away with advice to leave the hair to grow and be left alone for a few months so we can attempt to rectify the damage. Luckily this hasn't caused any bolding and the hair will come back with a vengeance and we can sort them out!

The scalp is extremely important and achieving as little stress on it as possible is a must. This can be done by a good thickness of dreads/sectioning/correct maintenence/reducing weight of dreadlocks or removing beads.

2hrs 20min maintenence and new undercut. Last tidied up last August so nearly a year.

If you don't have regular maintenence it's good to try and keep the dreads separated this can be done by gently pulling apart and twisting them at the root. :)

5hr 30mins session yesterday, longest I've done in a while as most maintenence in between 1-3hrs! But wasn't beaten by the sister locks 😊
