Living slow doesn’t mean you’re boring. It means you’ve learned to find joy in the little things: sleeping in without an alarm, laughing with people who really get you, forgiving yourself when you drop the ball, and spreading love without needing a dance floor to do it.

So if you’ve ever felt like the “fast life” just isn’t your thing—good news. You’re not missing out. You’re just creating your own rhythm. And sometimes, that rhythm sounds less like EDM and more like… silence, deep breaths, and maybe a cup of tea. ☕💙

✨ “If you were a book what book would you be?”

Honestly… this one. Because sometimes I’m bold and loud and a little messy (hi, Aperol spritz 👋), but sometimes I’m just in full-on Permission to Rest mode. And that’s the part I’m learning to actually honor. Rest doesn’t always look like a 10-hour nap or a spa day (though yes, please). Sometimes it’s sitting in the sun with a drink that makes you happy, doing absolutely nothing “productive,” and letting that be enough. 🌿☀️

This book is an easy read, it's designed to be able to pick up different chapters when you feel you need each permission slip most.

Like most books, It doesn't need to be read in order and not every chapter even needs to be read if you don't think it's applicable to you, let's keep it real simple 💛 See it as a handbook of instructions or leaflets of gentle reminders that we need on a day to day basis.

This isn't going to change your life over night. But the trick to so called "healing" our anxiety is to accept it, feel it and learn to live with it.

Everyone says “just breathe” like it’s some magical cure for stress… but honestly, when you’re spiraling, that advice can feel kind of useless. So here’s the real version 👇

✨ Inhale: Breathe in slowly through your nose like you’re smelling something amazing (not like you’re gasping for air). Count to 4.
✨ Exhale: Let it out through your mouth, slow and steady—like you’re blowing out candles on a cake you don’t really want to share. Count to 6.

That’s it. Nothing fancy. Just a way to trick your body into chilling out a little. You don’t have to be cross-legged on a yoga mat. You can do it in your car, in the bathroom, or hiding in the pantry eating snacks (no judgment).

Breathing won’t fix everything, but it can give you a tiny pause when your brain is running laps. 🫶
