Hi everyone.....
So I'm currently on Day 5 of The Everest Base Camp Hike. For those of you that have no idea or are not on my personal page I'm using this opportunity to raise some money so I can give back to Marie Curie who support families with palliative care, death and bereavement. They provided my sister Charlotte with the care, compassion and services you could only wish for in your last days. I want other families to be able to benefit from their services and this way not only will this happen but also I can keep Charlotte's legacy alive.

This is truly the hardest physical and mental thing I have ever done. I have struggled with the altitude and at one point my oxygen levels dropped to 86%, I had a severe headache and nauseous all while carrying on everyday to conquer the next section getting higher and higher. We are currently sat at 4,447m, you can feel the difference in altitude and it has started to get very cold. Tomorrow we will carry out another acclimitisation hike. We have 2 more stops after this and fingers crossed I can make it to the final destination Base Camp.
So if you have anything to spare no matter how little I would appreciate it more than you realise. I'm freezing, squatting to p*e in holes in the floor and unable to take showers due to the cold, I would love to turn this challenge into something more that I can be proud of apart from my destination target.
