‘OMG… What have I done?!’

Believe it or not… that’s probably the most common thing I hear after a fresh set of Ombre Brows or Lip Blush!

And my answer is always the same…
TRUST THE PROCESS. TRUST YOUR ARTIST.

OMBRE BROWS

Freshly done brows will always look much darker, bolder and more defined than the healed result. This is completely normal!

During healing you can expect:
✔️ Brows to darken initially.
✔️ Light scabbing/flaking (don’t pick!).
✔️ They may seem to almost disappear.
✔️ The colour will gradually return.

Once healed, brows usually soften by around 30–50%, leaving a beautiful, natural powder effect.
Your perfecting appointment (usually 6–8 weeks later) is where we:

✔️ Perfect the shape.
✔️ Replace any pigment lost during healing.
✔️ Make any small adjustments.

This is usually the appointment where clients look in the mirror and say…
‘WOW! I wish I’d done this years ago!’

LIP BLUSH

Fresh lips can look brighter than expected and may feel slightly swollen for the first day or two.
During healing you may notice:

✔️ Swelling.
✔️ Peeling.
✔️ Patchiness.
✔️ Colour fading.
✔️ Pigment appearing to disappear.
✔️ Then… the beautiful colour blooms back through.

Again… this is all part of the normal healing journey!

Your second appointment is where we perfect the colour and create that final beautiful result.

Hi everyone,

As many of you know, I have two dogs who are a huge part of my family. Unfortunately, my baby boy Jonny is very poorly again and needs lots of rest and close monitoring.

If you have an appointment with me this week, I wanted to let you know that both of my boys may be in the salon during your appointment. Jonny’s big brother, JP, is staying close by and looking after him, and I need to keep an eye on Jonny while still being able to work.

If you are not comfortable with the dogs being in the salon during your appointment, please send me a message. I will do my best to make alternative arrangements while keeping your appointment as comfortable and convenient as possible.
