Amazed at how well these were holding on after 5 weeks 🤩

Tbf there was one being held on by a plaster, and one nail had cracked underneath - but it’s not all insta perfect!!

We trimmed them back and picked this gorgeous sparkly blue for the next set.

In love with this colour and realise I need more glitter shades in my life! 🪩

A funny thing happens when you get your nails done-

You notice them 👀

You catch yourself looking at them and think oh wait il just put my gloves on for the washing up / il use a knife to open that box / il get someone else to open that tin

Suddenly you see them and you want to keep them ✨

It is a two way street though. I do my part but you’ve got to follow some aftercare rules and you need to be applying that cuticle oil 🥰

My client did just that and she went from hiding her nails to getting her first French manicure ( how cute is this lemon shade?! )

The first time these nails came to me I couldn’t fully get the previous product off 😭

I don’t know what was used but it was like super glue!

Not wanting to cause further trauma I removed what I could and applied a builder gel overlay, hopefull that it would last a week at the very least! 🤦‍♀️

3 months on and we are getting good growth and 4 weeks retention every time 👏

Damaged nails need TIME and CARE.

But they will get there. Promise 🥰

My client is going through a bit of a recovery journey with her nails. She no longer wants gel but still wanted pretty nails for going on holiday.

I said I don’t offer non-gel but it’s certainly something I’m still trained to do. So she bought her own polish in and honestly the memories just came flooding back!

I think Nails.INC was when I first truely became obsessed with nails. They came free with Glamour magazine (who remembers that?!) and I would buy it purely for the polish. I asked for new colours at Christmas and birthdays for years and had about 70 bottles at the height of my collection.

They always had the most stunning shades and their topcoat was unreal! I remember when they bought out a fancy new thing- a magnetic polish, the lid had a magnet with a pre-made design that you just held over the painted nail and it created said pattern. Honestly my mind was blown 🤯

My wedding nails were done at the Nails Inc bar in Frasers and I thought they were the best thing since sliced bread ♥️

So yea, this set was a trip down memory lane. Even that smell 🥰 just hits different.

Sometimes someone gets a chip and you lose heart a little bit. And then you get someone returning after 4 weeks with nails just like they left! 💃

Everyone is different and it’s about finding out what product works for you and your nails 🥰
