Brunette refresh 🤎✨

For this transformation we focused on refining the tone and bringing the hair back to a rich, glossy brunette. The previous colour had some warmth running through it, so we softened that to create a smoother, more even finish throughout the hair.

To finish the look, I added soft long layers to give the hair more movement and shape while still keeping the length. This helps the ends look softer and prevents the hair from feeling heavy.

✨ TRANSFORMATION ✨

This gorgeous transformation was all about bringing life back to tired, grown out colour.

My client came in with faded, uneven blonde that had lost its richness and shine. Going straight over hair like this with a brunette shade can often result in a dull, flat colour or even a muddy/green tone because the underlying warm pigments are missing.

So before applying the final colour, we carried out a pre pigmentation step. This process replaces the missing red, orange and gold tones that naturally sit underneath brunette shades. By rebuilding those pigments first, it allows the final colour to grab evenly and look rich, glossy and long lasting.

Once the hair was properly pre-pigmented, we applied her new rich glossy brunette, finishing with a good cut and a smooth blow dry.

Leaving a healthy shine and even result from root to tip.
