On the evening of 21 January 2024, a ๐ฅ caused by an electrical installation failure broke out in Miracle Skincare Center beauty salon. Fortunately, no one was hurt, however the flames destroyed part of the salon.
That's why we have decided to help our friend in the industry in this very difficult time. Just a month ago, Magda (the owner of the salon) gave birth to her second child, a daughter. So it's not hard to imagine what a dramatic situation Magda found herself in now.
Any donation, even the smallest contribution, will be of great help to Magda.

For the last 3 years weren't easy as I was suffering and no-one knew what was happening to me. The list of my symptoms was never ending. I was loosing myself.
I wasn't the same person .
Finally last year I got my diagnosis .
I was in shock as I never heard about this disease.
I never forget the day when I asked the doctor during my emergency visit:
"Do you actually know what causes my symptomsโ
"Yes we know from your blood tests : you have Graves disease ".
Unfortunately the medication affected my liver badly.The other medication was even more toxicโข

๐ธ๏ธI've read a lot what can happen to my body but only because I wanted to be ready to face it if that comes, not to awaiting to be happen to me.
๐ธ๏ธ I reached out to people and asked for help.
Because of my online Arbonne business which I started few years ago I developed a strong mindset .
๐ธ๏ธEvery morning Mon-Fri I spend 30min on working on myslef.
๐ธ๏ธI prayed๐งโโ๏ธ for healing๐ซ
๐ธ๏ธI meditated๐งโโ๏ธ
๐ธ๏ธI had to retrain my mind.
๐ธ๏ธI visualised my healthy body.
๐ธ๏ธI developed sleep routine even I was suffering with insomnia and some nights I slept only 3-4h .
๐ธ๏ธI listened to my body.
๐ธ๏ธI rested as much possible, allowing myslef to have a power nap during the day.
๐ธ๏ธI changed my diet ๐๐๐ฅ
๐ธ๏ธ I healed my GUT.
๐ธ๏ธI slowed down๐ข.
๐ธ๏ธI had to change my working days .
And I done lot's of other things to help myself.
I am so grateful for a doctor who did the right tests for me.
During this hard time someone nominated my Beauty Island business to Scotland Business Award.

That is something I not even dreamt about it.๐คฉ
I would like to thank my husband Artur, and every single person who has supported me personally or my business.
I could be angry and complaining about my disease.

I can say that Graves disease is a blessing to me because it made me slow down .
If I wanted to get better I needed to change my life.
It took me 10 months to get my blood results right without medication. Normally it takes minimum 1.5 years and people still don't reach they're remission.

There are no words that can truly express how much your support means to me. From the bottom of my heart, I want to say thank you for your constant encouragement.
HOWEVER...
I need your help ONE MORE TIME.
On the 29th of October, I'm going to Glasgow to attend the Scotland Business Awards event.
This time, I will be competing against other amazing beauty therapists who won the Best Beauty Treatments Award in other parts of Scotland.
When I came to Scotland for the first time 18 years ago I had never even thought about winning anything related to the Beauty Industry. I just wanted to graduate from a Scottish beauty school. What seems funny to me now, I didn't really enjoy speaking English at that time :-)
This week, I had a client for a waxing treatment. After she got herself ready, she told me: "I need to be out of the salon in 15 minutes."
I asked her: "Do you believe in miracles?"
She said: "No, but I believe in you, Dominika."
I said: "OK, let's set the timer on."
She said it was unnecessary because her friend was to come to collect so she would not be late but I told her we'd check the time for fun and I pressed a start button.
I finished her waxing in 15 minutes and 8 seconds. And still with a perfect result because I got a 5 star review from that client.
